Well, tomorrow is the beginning of our second Church trapshooting league! We did this two years ago, and of the 20 shooters + alternates, only 4 of us had ever show competitively before, and of those, my wife had only shot black powder trap. You'll probably never see any of us at shooting at Sparta or the Cardinal Center (although we will visit), but we will have a great time and introduce some new folks to the sport of competitive Trapshooting!
Good Luck, have fun, let us know how it went. And when your wife cleans your clock tell her you let her win. Flyersarebest
She's pretty good, could be even better if she gets her head in the game. This year, she's not going to worry about fixing chili or pulled pork for everyone, and just going to shoot. It also gives her a chance to practice before the Black Powder Trap season begins. It'll keep us busy for the next 10 weeks!
Well, we got our shoot in before the storm hit, despite a minor trap breakdown. Or scores reflected that this was the first time out for most of the shooters, but everybody had a lot of fun, and got to socialize while we worked on the trap! And my wife will have to try again next week to outshoot me! (Whew!)
