I think next week I am driving out to Joel Etchen's guns in Ligonier P to buy their Etchen signature
Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon III Unsingle . I like engraving especially of game scenes on each side of the receiver
reminds me of my youth hunting with my father and uncle back in the day , Pa had wild Pheasants to hunt.
Buy all accounts and reviews this Trap gun gets great reviews but after looking at the photos a second time , wow every square mm is covered by engraving , they are nice game scenes but there is a lot of it . Do you prefer a simple game scene , minimal amounts of scroll work or every square inch covered in scroll work , or just a plain two sided receiver ? Thanks

I looked at this Trap model this am and it was $4700 , by this evening the price raised to $4950
yearly increase or maybe tariffs ?

I think engraving can be over done especially with some designs...the gun shown here is nicely done....adds class...

You right it does add class , even with the $250 price increase to $4950 still a could price . So I research and procrastinate every purchase . The Krieghoff KX-6 Special was $6700 for a while now one place wants $8500 and Etchens will be selling at $8250 so my procrastination cost me another $1800 . Thanks

If you can tell me a little about yours . How many years ago did you own it and for how long ? Did you buy the Unsingle by itself or buy the combo ? Likes , dislikes
I'm interested in your feedback . Thanks

That would be a nice topic to discuss via the PM option.
That way you could get his phone number and talk about it for hours

IMG_1559.jpeg IMG_9308.jpeg I guess there are variations from none to exquisite. To each his own. In my opinion there is no such thing as too much if done well.
