What is the rule for transgender shooters?

Is it which sex you identify with?

Which sex you are attracted to.

What type equipment you have?

What type equipment you used to have.

Does the TG shooter have to declare anything?

Is there a manner in which you can have your card changed or do you become a new member after the surgery?

What about the old member shooter history?

 

I dont't care what anybody says, that's some serious "Trap Talk."

 

Why not start a new category! Maybe call it Trans silver and Trans gold.

Had this deal at the Colorado State shoot a few years back. Maybe 6ft. 200lbs+ very deep voiced women won the Ladies singles title. Created a stir among some people and more of a stir among some of the lady competitors.

To the best of my recollection, the ATA was forced to deal with the gender issue back in 2003. A complaint was lodged in Colorado when Wm. Eppinger transitioned to Linda Eppinger and shot in the Lady category. The ATA took much time in researching how other organizations were handling this matter as well as legal decisions.

Linda Eppinger was granted the right to shoot as a lady. The gender on a drivers license was the criteria used. Those involved in the case please feel free to correct me if I've made some inaccurate statements. It was part of the ATA minutes in March and/or April of that year.

 

Kenny nailed it. The ATA made the only decision they could make which would stand a legal challenge. Obviously the birth certificate is no longer the final word.

 

I read Caitlin does not have Lady 2 parts. Kept the old plumbing.

 

Who cares about his/her plumbing?
