I know that if you have an adjustable butt pad you should have it fit in your "shoulder pocket." Question 1 - how do you know when it's just right given the pocket could be a larger area than that of the butt pad? Question 2 -. Is it true that butt pad adjustment is used to correct canting of the gun. Appreciate your answers.
Not all pads are the same, you need a pad that fits YOU comfortably, I like a pad w/a little curve, Prefer the Kick-EZE, Hell no to the Morgan, that is old stuff. It SHOULD move up & down and Diagonally, with the Proper Pitch, I shoot ZERO pitch, some need downpitch How much, has to be determined You do not want recoil into the face bone. Depends on the style of your chest, Obesity plays into it a lot. Yes on canting. GB........................DLS
