NICE GUN! But I personally think if Browning wasn't so GREEDY they could have brought this gun out to market for $3500.00 and sold all they could produce. Just makes this gun a little out of a lot of people's price range. Joe
I have to agree with you Joe, I would have purchased one months ago if that was the case.. Instead, I purchased 2 KX5's.. in the $3500 price range and feel really good about it.. but ... would still love to have a new Max..
Fellow at our gun club bought one and I shot it. Couldn't tell if from the old BT-99 Plus other then the upgrades to wood and receiver engraving. Lady at club shoots an old BT-99 Plus Golden Clays with some of the nicest Browning wood I have ever seen with upgraded Timmney recoil replacement for the old Brn. Style. She bought it brand new and Actually makes new MAX look just fair.
Hey Jack , ask the guy if he would sell you the release trigger . You could stick that in one of the BT 99s you have .
That would be kewl... good thinking, as I have just fallen in love with the release trigger in one of the KX5 's I picked up.. let's go Richie ... I'm definitely heading up to the club at 4:30.. can't wait to shoot that release..
It's a beautiful gun Harvey... would love to have it on the range ... but the price tag is just too much for me...
How is this a BT99 Max. there is a pic of the receiver showing 2 firing pin holes, huh. What are you selling. Did you get some pics mixed up.
Two different pictures. The one with the dual firing pins is a Browning 725 Max..The other one is a bt99 max single barrel..Back to browning school for Harvey.
