Brad I got top dollar in it Brad, trading that Beretta 391 soft touch in an even trade, What's nice is it is a 1939 Milled Rib Trap, Marked Model 12 Trap on the Magazine Tube, Tight fitting yet, used very little. I will be keeping it. Very tight Choke, my specialty. Love extra full chokes. In the early days of my shooting I had a solid rib Black Diamond. Like a fool I had Simmons install a ventilated rib with a model 12 spade Ramp installed, I won a lot of money with gun, purchased it at a Pawn Shop in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. Thanx Brad. I bought a Y model last summer it is still in the original box with the owners book. This gun has never even been fired. I paid about $1250 US for it. I started shooting Trap with one and just wanted one. A friend had it and my son will end up using it.
You might want to put some patterns on paper; there comes a point in choke constriction where too much can disrupt patterns.
What mudpack said. I bought a model 12 years ago that just would not shoot. Constriction was tight, but did not start until the very end of the barrel. Pattern was awful. Tom Wilkinson turned it into a target crusher. Said it was the worst factory barrel he had ever seen.....
