Blaser o/u barrels?

Which barrels are lighter, the F-16 Sport or Hunting?

 

Probably about the same. IIRC, the Sport you can add on weights, while the Hunting you can't.

 

I was concerned about those weights. Even if I left all the weights off there are still mounting brackets attached to the barrels from what I can tell from pics.
Need the lightest barrels possible before I start even making lighter. My 25'' single barrel Perazzi is only 6 lbs total weight.

Then get the F16 Game with 28" barrels. I'm assuming you're looking for a lightweight hunting gun that you'll carry more than you'll shoot?

 

Wish I could, but my hunting days are over since I broke my neck. This will be a dedicated doubles gun. I'm unable to lift gun to proper height that's why my trap guns all have 4.5'' high ribs including extremely short thumbhole stocks as in 12.5'' LOP. the pic below is before barrel was cut to 25''
