My son is graduating and, since it is 2018 I want to gift him a bottle of whiskey that he can keep for many years and drink on special occasions. He is young but appreciates all kinds of whiskey though he recently told me his"favorite" was an English whiskey. (Surprised me.) Anyway, if you were going to spend too much on a bottle of whiskey that has been aged 18 years, please tell me what it is. And, if you don't mind, why? Thanks, Jake
My favorite single malt is from the island if Islay. Laphroaig....if you like nosing peat, this is for you. I have many up to 30 years old.
