Beretta 12 Ga. O/U Conversion of Ejectors to Extractors

Good evening fellow Patriots.

I have a Beretta Silver Pigeon 12 Ga. with 32" Sporing Bbls that I would like to change the Ejectors to Extractors. You're experiences in making this happen would be greatly appreciated.

Just take a couple of coils of the ejector springs till they have enough power to only lift the shell

 

I will say go to a lighter ejector spring.

That way there is no other modification to undo.
A spring that doesn't push the empty clear of the chamber will still lift it higher for easier grabbing, about half an inch as compared to about 3/16.

Than if you don’t like it or are going to sell the gun, all you have to do is put the heavier springs back in.
