Balvar 8B, 2.5 x 8 Scope SOLD

This is a Balvar 8B 2.5 x 8 with the tapered cross hair reticle.
Optics are clear and bright. The outside tube shows no ring marks or scratches. The turret caps do show wear on the sharp edges. The power ring turns smoothly as it did when it left the factory.

that scope is for a long gone generation those were the only scopes I ever used back in the late 60's and early 70's had one with the post and cross hairs I killed a many of a deer and turkey with when you could use a rifle in Miss.

I know they are an older scope but I would agree if you said FROM an older generation wouldn't say they are "for" a long gone generation. I think if someone of the "younger" generation had a nice Pre 64 Winchester they were handed down from someone of the "older" generation it would look just about perfect sitting on top of one of those rifles.

you know I do have a control feed Model 70 to put that scope on I will take it if you still have it

that probably was the finest scope made and even today the Bushnell Elite plant turns out the premier glass of any company
if you like the Nightforce scopes ask where the glass comes from and also their mechanics
