ATA President stuck in Canada

    The Prime Minister implied the border will be shut down indefinitely. When was the last time ATA President Paul Shaw was in the office? Or the U.S.?

    Delegates should be on this right?

    The bylaws don’t say the President can’t do his job from Canada.

    Besides...name one in the last 30 years that could do the job while in States.

    The border is not completely closed. Commercial truck traffic and essential workers are permitted to cross the border. I live near the Lewiston Queenston bridge and see the traffic. I was purchasing a new mattress and the sales person lives in Canada and is able to work in Niagara Falls, NY and is considered an essential worker. The new president may be considered an essential worker.
