ATA has the Adult Universe - SCTP has just kids…

    Food for thought. The ATA is pulling from the Universe of Adults and kids to fill a shooting venue. The SCTP is restricted to only kids.

    Logical expectations or expected value would put the ATA at an advantage.

    So why then can the SCTP put 4,000 youngsters at their National Shoot at the Cardinal Center and the ATA can round up only 1,700 in Sparta?

    SCTP and other youth programs have an advantage in that parents and grandparents are willing to foot the bill to see their youngsters shoot. Older adults often times have additional financial and other responsibilities that may keep then from participating.

    The kids’ grandpas used to shoot? Why did they quit? I see youth shooters with one of dads old guns.
