WalMart, Big 5, Cabella's, Sportman's Warehouse, all have shells is there a specific shell you are looking for ..? WPT ... (YAC) ...
No, nothing specific. I am glad to hear availability is good at these sources. Whenever we get back to shooting I will stock up.
Availability is getting leaner. My distributor is receiving only portions of his orders and some are already delayed until an August delivery. Prices are going up considerably. Take that information to the bank!
Shelves are fairly bare around me. Limits on ammunition and supplies. Fortunately, I make my own and have plenty of components.
I just received an email from my distributor. Place your order immediately for Claybuster wads, Alliant powder, West Coast shot and all 209 shotshell primers-if you expect to get any in the near future. It's gonna get ugly.
I was just down at Dennys in Hubbard, Ohio. He had good stock on everything but I would still call before you make a trip , he might be closed. Also Sports Junction in Geneva, Ohio had good stock on .22s, .40s, .45s, .38s. Nothing really trap related but worth a call if you need guns or plinking ammo.
I haven't had flats of trap ammo shipped to me for ages by UPS. I usually just buy locally...are any of the stores shipping direct to you any more at home for trap ammo?
Just came back from the one hour of "6 To 7 AM Senior Citizens Shopping Only" at my local W-M superstore. Lots of AA and STS/Nitro 27 ammo on the shelves, but all the 12 gage Federal Top Guns are gone. $5.96 vs. $6.97 and $7.97 a box may be the reason?
I was at two WalMarts close to my house and it was pretty much the same thing, had a few Federals but not near as many as AA's or STS / Nitro's ($) ... The Sporting Goods manager said they may not get any real soon because they need the space on the trailers for toilet paper and other paper goods ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
