Good one, Tim! True story! Hanging over the worktable of the head estimator of a big family owned construction company in my home town was a bronze plaque that said, "We lose money on every job. We just make it up in volume." Funny thing, though, was that they made more money than the Catholic Church and they were all so tight that they squeaked when they walked. Oh, the good ol' days.
