God was on our side, believe it or not !!! If the Japs had bombed the fuel depot which supplied the whole Pacific fleet and the dry docks --we would be speaking Japanese & if they caught our ships @ sea the losses would have been way greater

After the attack all we had left were 3 carriers and our submarines.

Sailors rest your oars--well done-considering what you had to fight with

If that happened now, over 50% of the people in this country would not vote to fight. Our citizens have sunk to an all time low. I wonder if they have the guts to fight for their freedoms, that many seem to hate. SAD BUT TRUE.

Regretfully Roger may be right. A few days following 9/11 a hard core Democrat lady I was working with made a remark that I countered with saying; "For God's sake -----, we lost more people in 9/11 than at Pearl Harbor". She countered with; " so, whats your point"?

Every time I see the pictures of Pear Harbor I immediately think of Harry Truman and Col. Paul Tibbets.

    Payback's a bitch!

Paul Tibbits shot Trap at Airport Gun Club in Lancaster, Ohio. and so did the man who designed the gun to shoot between the Propellor blades on the Fighter.

    Doc,
That guy must have been in the Sr Vet category because the first designs were in 1913-1914 :D

Since the devise was called an " interrupter" I wonder if he could read the trap.
