9's or 8's?

Just joking. My club was set up with the skeet fields within 100-200 yards of all the trap fields. Skeet shooters would shoot prior to opening (9am) and there were no issues. Now the new owners (after the long-term owner passed away) decided to open at 8am and the occasional trap shooters (mainly hunters) complain about being peppered. None of the regular trap shooters care or complain, just the new occasional trap shooters. We all shoot 9's on the stations facing the trap fields (I shoot registered trap also) but they don't seem to understand that without the dozens of skeet shooters daily verses a few trap shooters they'll be out of business. I tried as a long-time member to make them understand that the way the fields were set up and opening times adjusted for that. But they keep harassing skeet shooters to the point that the majority may shoot elsewhere. Any ideas on how to convince them that losing a dozen shooters a day over a few is not in their best interest?

Sounds like the Skeeters have the upper hand here. They are shooting at the trapshooters. Tell the trapshooters to shut up. Next time shoot 6s.

you need to redesign your range before none of you get to shoot on a safety violation. God help you if your town gets wind of people getting peppered.
