The good folks at the Cardinal Center have added a fifth screen panel on the bottom to banks 12 and 4. The best keeps getting better. Thank you Cardinal Center! E8CF7C85-F8E6-43AB-983F-2D749F846E13.jpeg

I shot bank 12 today. Targets were set horribly but the curtain was very nice and appreciated. Will they add the bottom curtain across the whole line? That would be amazing.

I'm going to miss the tractors on 12.

I shot 4C & 4D on doubles last Friday at the Classic. That late in the afternoon, the left hand target on 4D falls into that shadow created by the stand of trees adjacent to the west side of the international trap field. It was very dark in there.

Gotta agree. I spent the week shooting 2-4, and struggled with vision issues on 4. I'll still shoot 4 if I have no choice, but will otherwise avoid it. It was strange...when I was standing in back watching the birds for other shooters, I didn't see any problems. But when I was on the line...a whole different story. Maybe old eyes....

That picture is also a bit deceiving.....the bottom row of curtain only goes half way across Trap 12A. If you're standing on post 3, it ends just about exactly where your eye hold point would be. If you're on post one or two, there is no bottom row to make it completely consistent. I wish they extended it another 100 feet or so to make it consistent across that trap. It's still a big improvement though.

Where I’m from we don’t have curtains. Boy am I glad. Looks tuff.

Does anyone know the actual height of those?

I will double check for you on the height. I believe each panel section is 8’ tall. Height above grade to the bottom of the first panel varies as you go down the line. Luke at the Cardinal or Steve Corwin will be able to verify that for us.

Steve confirmed each panel is 8’ high x 50’ wide.

Thanks. I didn't think they were that high. That can't cheap....
