It sounds like the CC will see a longer trap line soon.

    I report. You decide.
    Merlo out.

Not if the boys running the circus have one breath left in their lungs.

Did you ever get the feeling that anytime someone says, "you don't have this or you can't do that" Mr. Fishburn and crew answer with,

Really? You think so? Well stick around for a while and we will see about that.

Cardinal is the best place overall I have ever shot at. If management could just slow the golf carts and UTV's down it would be almost perfect. That being said even shoot management can't teach courtesy to rude people, and you can't fix stupid. I think if it continues someone will eventually get hurt. I will be there shooting targets and dodging carts and UTV's and having a great time doing it. See you all next week !!

    Merlo,

From my outside observations, CC is doing just fine with the facilities they now have.

    Sometimes Bigger isn't always Better.

Personally, I would hate to see the ATA get their fingers into that place by wanting the Grand there.

CC is the very best place I had ever been to shoot, I hope they keep it that way without outside (EC) coming in and messing it up.

The ata is just fine and moving in a fantastic ERECTION.

Like I said in the other thread, you can see that ERECTION all the way from, well, now all the way from Linn Creek.

That is a great clip with Michael Douglas from the movie Multiplicity. You know he is from Pittsburgh PA and that scene was an improv done by him based on a past experience.

He remembered that was the same thing he did when he was told the ata decided to move the GRAND from Vandalia to an outpost known as sparta and that it was a great decision.

From the pathetic numbers that place has drawn in the last 14 years I'm pretty sure it's the same thing a couple thousand of us that live in PA , OH, and farther East did when we heard the news.

Everything went well with 12 banks, why add more?

There may be much higher attendance at cardinal shoots in the future.

Wouldnt closing the road on the west end block the entrance to sporting clays
    from the south?

I was out there for every event watching my kids shoot and I can tell you the people driving the worst were the staff. Even saw a staff member pass another cart on the road behind the trap line at full speed.

I witnessed the same thing, overall a lot better than most years. The staff carts should definitely slow down. They need to set a good example. I enjoyed the shoot and will probably go back to the Classic.
