Glad you joined our site and congrats on reaching your 9th post. Kind of a strange question IMO. It would imply you are concerned because you shoot a lot of targets there? Or maybe you just want to be able to go there for many more years and are worried about what might happen?

A guess answer? Maybe people will be "butt hurt".

Now everyone has their right to an opinion, even in these screwed up times, but one would hope that opinion was based on some experience or at least some knowledge of the subject they are responding to.

The guy that posted that joined the ata in 2008 and didn't "register" any targets until this target year. (2020)

ALL 200 of them. In13 years! LOL

Since you are more than likely a person that has shot a lot more targets than that and wish to shoot thousands more over your "career" I for one hope that Mr. Fishburn will be around for MANY more years so you can continue to shoot at the CC.

I know I didn't answer your question but it is kinda like predicting the future and there was only one guy that frequented this site that thought he could do that, and he's dead.

I give you an A+ for your research on me. Its 100% correct. Im sorry you wasted all that time trying to be little me or whatever. I understand people are on high alert here all time. Dustin Jack's grandson-in-law has taken over most of the day to day operations for a couple of years now. Everything will be a go as far as I can see.

Oleollidawg, CNN FAKE NEWS rumor, but a good one if you started it. When I was on the board the OSTA had first dibs but that was 7 years ago and I don't know about today. Hint the CC isn't for sale.

When you said that the shooters from Ohio were “butt hurt” and thought it was funny (LoL) it didn’t sound as if you were “standing on the fence”.
I suppose standing on the fence is better than sitting on it. Unless you slip, then YOU would be the one that was really “butt hurt”.

I'll not forget the time I challenged our official graph and chart master with one that baffled his brain. He supposedly tested three of his trap guns with 1 oz. loads and declared them ineffective from the 27 yd line. I countered with the ATA having over 30,000 members with each averaging over three trap guns and totaling around 100,000 guns. I then declared his numbers were statistically insignificant. That got a charge out of him. There were others. God, I miss those days.

You can see why the only "C" grade I ever got in college was in Statistics 101. Dang thing stopped me from graduating with honors. Please don't inform the graph master!

Actually I still load some Federal papers just to refresh my memory. 18grs. of Red Dot with a 12 C1. I doubt they smell exactly the same without the old wax they used but it's close enough.

 

do they still make the paper hulls? are they still called gold medal?

 

Ollie, I'm glad you cleared that up. I really didn't want to ask that question, but the devil made me do it. I guess its just too much stay home and social distancing time and I think it's about time to move on from all this political correctness B S.

man I was reloading today and I took the lid off of 1 of my trash cans of federal papers and I sware I could still smell that smell.

 

I still have two flats of the old papers, and about 1000 once fired. Roger C.
