There's a lot of ODD things about ILLNews. The bird is just one of them. "Six Illinois governors have been charged with crimes during or after their governorships; four were convicted, and of those, one (Blagojevich) was the first to be impeached and removed from office."
Would someone be kind enough to provide the date and time for the Hall of Fame Induction ceremony? I'd like to try to get out for my old friend, Dr. Lynn Parson's posthumous induction. Thanks, HB
HB, The program states the Hall of Fame reception will be Thursday, June 25, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. The induction ceremony typically starts as the reception is winding down around 7:30. Not sure what if any changes to the schedule might be required to comply with health department rules but maybe Tim will spot this thread and let us know. I hope to see you and everyone else at the reception. DC
Don, Everything that used to take place within the Hall of Fame has been moved outside and on tables. Betty has made the bottled beer, bottled wine and finger food self-serve; replacing the young ladies pouring draft beer and walking around with hors d'oeuvers. The musician has been cancelled in an effort to keep people from congregating within the HoF. Other than those adjustments, the schedule of events will remain the same as in the past. Tim Hunsaker
