2020 ATA Grand NOT Cancelled-Too Small

    Good news for all ATA members from CNN it was announced by the talking head that the 2020 Sparta, Illinois Grand will be held as usual this August as it was determined by the IDNR that there was not or never had been 5,000 campers at any Sparta Grand and that at no time could a crowd of people be seen that would justify cancelling this event.

    The HOF building will also remain open for the usual hours during grand week, for those interested, as it too fell substantially below the crowd size limit. Watch here for future Sparta updates.

    The ATA and State of Illinois say the grand in Sparta is a work of art in progress and like all fine works of art it cannot be rushed ... The State designated the WSRC as a State Park so it would be eligible for Federal funding at some point in time, not sure if that has happened yet ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
