Joe when I was at the Shot Show the Midway USA Foundation guys told me that last year the clubs made 19% on their money. How much does your team have now if you don't mind saying. It doesn't seem that many years ago when Dick came to the OSTA meeting and you came to the CC to meet him for that first time. Brad
Brad- Currently at $468,000 before I make the next deposit. Just phenomenal what the Potterfields have done for the youth shooting sports. And yes- it seems like we just started it yesterday......
CORRECTION TO 6-WAY 50s RESULTS Sorry, but my above post has some inaccuracies. We are very fortunate to have a couple young trapshooters helping us with our Calcuttas, and several of you may recognize them from shooting with them over the years. Tyler (T-Bone) Johnson, and Brad Nester, both former members of the All-Ohio Youth team, and they have remained connected to shooting even though their lives have changed and they are busy. It is refreshing to see the younger shooters taking an active roll in our club management. To explain the inaccuracies I posted above- Brad developed a spreadsheet where we could easily sort the winners of the 6-way 50s at larger shoots. While Brad was shooting late in the day, dad (me) should have been entering the scores from the late squads into the spreadsheet. Anyway, we printed a summary of the 50's winners, but there were still 2 squads to be entered, and that changed some of the winners. It was caught at the payout, and payouts were correct, except I still brought home the first printout instead of throwing it away, and that was the sheet I posted results from on here. SO- Here are the CORRECT 6-way 50 winners, and they have been paid. My bad- will make sure all scores are posted before any results are printed in the future! 6-way 50’s 1&2- Jerry Russell, Bobby Hubble, Scott Smith, Ken Heathcoate, score of 46 1&3- Mark Barker score of 48 1&4 Corwin Cockey and Mark Barker, score of 49 2&3 Chris Howell, score of 49 2&4 Chris Howell, Barry Brown, score of 48 3&4 Chris Howell and Mark Barker, score of 49
Thought I would post an old photo of our trap help for the Calcutta. Brad Nester on the right, next to him is Tyler T-Bone Johnson, and the little guy is Brett Nester who handled trap loading on Saturday. This was their first trip to the Cardinal Center. They would go on the next year to win the Ohio State SCTP Sub Junior Championship. Thanks for your help guys!
