Hello everyone! Up for sale is a K80 30" fixed choke (semi) carrier barrel + Fitted Briley Ultralight tubes. The set comes with four .410 chokes (M/M/Sk/Sk), five 28ga chokes (IC/LTSK/M/M/F), and six 20ga chokes (IC/IC/LM/M/M/F). It has no mid-bead from personal preference. You can add one easily if you would like. I am asking $3,949 with shipping and insurance included, but open to any reasonable offers. The barrel is described as a Semi-carrier barrel because the barrel has been backbored to be lighter, but is still shootable. The bore constriction has been widened to .755, and while the chokes are .739. This makes the choke constriction about 0.016 so LM/LM or slightly tighter toward M/M. The backboring process took out about 5oz from the barrels. The empty barrels are now 3Lbs 0.9 oz, down from 3Lbs 6oz. With the tubes in, they weigh 3Lbs 13.1 oz. This is comparable to a 32" sporting model with regular chokes. 30" barrels would be closer to 3Lbs 10oz (https://www.krieghoff.com/competition-shotguns/krieghoff-k80/k-80-barrels/). The serial number is 9431. THE GUN AND BARREL SERIAL NUMBERS HAVE NOT ALWAYS MATCHED HISTORICALLY. A receiver with this serial would be a K32, but I called Ottsville to make sure this barrel serial was a K80 and they confirmed (you can do the same). You can also see that it also has a spring ejector, not a screw-in. Photos of the tubes: I also have a NASCO case. It's pretty beat up inside and out but still usable. If you pay $40 extra to cover the extra shipping cost, I'll send it to you with the barrel/tubesets. You can find more photos in the album: https://imgur.com/a/gN665mj Thank you and please let me know if you have any questions. OBG
By the way the rib is tapered from 8mm to 7mm. Did a little digging and seems like these used to be the standard for Skeet barrels. Page 22 http://www.claytargetsports.com/pdfs/K80K20.pdf
Considering credit card fees and Gunbroker fees, cash price has been reduced to $3,650 with shipping and handling included. $30 extra for shipping with the Nasco case. I am currently traveling for the World English and the earliest I can ship is the 12th of August. Money Order/Postal Checks will need 5 days to clear. Thank you, OBG
