Michelle was a Princeton undergrad and Harvard law grad who got a job with the very prestigious and high end firm of Sidley Austin in Chicago where she met Barack when he was a summer intern. (I'm sure you know that Barack was President of Harvard Law Review.) She currently still holds a license in Illinois which is on inactive status.
