I also have a 686 pro trap, and am interested in this, how close does the bluing match? It looks shiny in the pictures but want to make sure. I’m unfamiliar with having it fit to my receiver, weather it’s needed or not. Do you have an idea of point of impact?, compared to the o/u trap barrels? Thanks

 

My experience with this single barrel is it shoots very flat, if you have adjustable comb you can easily raise point of impact. Some said this shot 50/50 others said 60/40. I would say if you bury mid head into front bead you will get 50/50 but stack beads and 60/40, if you want higher shooter would have to raise comb. This barrel fit perfectly on my 686 Onyx with no fitting at all. CNC machines make mix and match pretty easy. I sent you a personal message. Thanks, Gary
