Ohio no longer has BIG PAPA on their board and now I read forum Rock Star Tonya Bluhm left the OSTA. Hearts were broken when we heard Tonya got married, but now this. Tonya....if you are out there we would like to hear why you left.
Politics sooner or later get to everyone ... I do not blame them for walking away from all of the BS ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
If I am remembering correctly, Tonya represented the SE Zone which is now represented by Ed Dety and Steve Corwin. Tonya did an excellent job on the BOD and I feel she has turned over her position to two fine gentlemen to take over where she left off. Thanks to Tonya for all her efforts and thanks to Steve and Ed for stepping up to the challenge of being an OSTA Director.
I could have had two more years, but the job was extremely time consuming. The majority of meeting were Jan-April, meaning I would have to miss valuable Saturdays at work ( Tax Preparer ) or the meetings. One of my valuable employees retired, and that meant I had to mind the store, missing too many of the OSTA meetings in the process. The day to day running of the Ohio State Shoot also was stressful to me, wanting to put out all the fires, meaning I did not feel like I had the time to shoot any of the program. I am behind our new directors, Ed and Steve, and I feel they will definitely benefit the board!
Sounds to me like you have your priorities in order. Thank you for serving, and your desire to make things better while a member of the OSTA.
