    Any tips or suggestions ?
It's been about 6 wks. with this PIA.
Lots of differen't thoughts but with the shooting season coming soon maybe some of you that have been there can give some advice.

It took me about a year to get over it. Go to a full service shoe store and get some inserts. Can also go to WalMart and put your foot on Dr. Scholls foot machine and it will tell you what number insert to purchase. My number is easy to remember as it is 410. Also take a tennis ball and roll it around on the floor with your foot when sitting in chair watching TV, that seemed to help some. Good luck!

Ice, Advil, stretching exercises and Dr. Scholls. Enjoy, you're among many!

    Thanks all .
Easing up after about 8 wks.
Doctor visit and a shot of Cort. which seems to be the cover up for all ills.
Frequent stretching, I'm told, is the key for it not coming back.

    Regards.....Gerald

    Orthopedic shoe inserts work wonders.

Alan is right. I had nasty plantar fascitis many years ago. Went to to a good podiatrist and he took a mold of my feet and had "orthotics" made for me. I wear them in my shoes. I have had no issue with my plantar fascitis for over 20 years since. Go see a board certified podiatrist. He or she will fix you.

Don't go barefoot + custom insoles, worked for me.

Fought with mine for 6 months. 2 cortisone shots later got a pair of good shoes with ortho insoles and huge improvement. As mentioned above, go to a good shoe store and get fitted with both.
    Good luck
