I MY SELFJust got out of the Hospital

I had been in Riverside Hospital after being Lifeflighted there from Oblenness in Athens, Ohio with a bleeding ulcer, that had me within Hours of death I was told.Lifeflighted 2-13-17 ahd had 4 units of blood, Drs. did a very good job of stopping the bleeding by putting me on Protronix 40mg. I got home here last night 5:30 pm. Thank you for the encouragement WPT, Good friends and Trapshooters are the best.

It was hell being on Heprin drip for 11 days, trying to get PT up to 2.3.
i lost 20 lbs and am still very weak and appetite is coming back slowly. food just doesn't TASTE GOOD. On my way to get Prescripts filled
Everybody shoot well in this WARM weather.

Whiz only loaded a few, then got really sick/Bleeding Ulcer came to a head and forced Medflight to a Hospital Equipped to treat me, after 11 days I am finally home on a strict diet.

Gary I had no idea that you had this new experience. You are a tough old bird, so glad that you are out and hopefully on your way to better health now. Hope to see you on the trap pad again soon. I went in for the second repair of my abdominal hernia mesh that failed on January the 3rd. Out now and on the mend.

I am doing well went skeet shooting today. I actually broke a 24 once.

 

It is taking longer than I expected to get my strength back, I thought I would try shooting Yesterday Thursday, it was 65 degrees, but temp fell sharply so I gave up and went back to my Apt. Hoping it warms up and stays warm, and will try again when it is warmer.
