The Vendels were mainstays of our NY Club, good friends.

Fortunately I always had a camera with me.

One picture is Christopher after coming off the line with his first ever 25 straight. Happened to be an ATA shoot, the week after Dad Chris had taken the HOA at the 2005 GAH in Vandalia.

The other is after the two had both shot 200 straights at a NY State Shoot to win the Father/Son championship with the NYSATA first ever 400X400

Truly sad to have this happen to the family.

I really appreciate the pictures Brads' friend (I hope)

I've always thought of young Christopher as a fine young man and he was never too busy to stop and have a chat. An accomplished shooter on the path for many more accomplishments just like his father.

Its a terrible loss and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Peace be with you all.

I received a call last evening (Thursday 2-2-2017) from a friend in NY.

He and his wife attended the calling hours for Christopher Wednesday, and wanted me to know about the outpouring of love and affection from Shooters all over the North East and Canada who made the trip there. He said he saw Canadians, folks from Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and several other states in attendance.

It never ceases to amaze us how tight knit a group Trap Shooters are at a time like this.

Once again our condolences to Christopher's family.
