So who is getting the $28 million the ATA is worth? Some of us thought a non-profit like the ATA would invest in the kids? Is the ATA still charging youths for targets? I know of clubs that give free targets to the youth.

The Executive Director is making over $200K. The EC gives themselves $17k guns.

Always had a problem with kids getting free targets. There should be a means test. A kid shooting a new P or K gun doesn't need a leg up; but a kid shooting a hand me down 1100 or a model 12 might need a leg up.

And how would you check this , with income tax returns ? Maybe someone’s grand father left them a nice gun and they need help paying for shooting it. I think all young shooters help the sport going forward . If they get started young even if they stop for awhile they come back.

The biggest issue with this forum is that the posters can't comprehend the subject of the post.

The poster mentions the ATA has $28 million. How is the ATA helping youth with that money? How are they helping trapshooting?

Don't non-profits need to spend their money to keep the non profit status.

Use the $28 million to lower the cost at big shoots such as the Grand

Or at least give better awards, make it more enticing to join the ATA.
