Am I the only person alive that had one of these? I dont think there were many made. I saw a fellow had one for sale locally.

I remember seeing a couple of those. I thought beauty is skin deep. Underneath the rib and upgraded wood, you still had a Mossberg hunting gun that they were trying to sell as target gun.

A guy that ran one of the local trap leagues had one of these, he shot it OK, and I don’t remember it breaking down on him. He wasn’t a high volume shooter by any means, though.

I have one, Its pretty fun. Fairly flat shooting. Like most Mossberg 500's its really a strong action that can take some use. The real upside is that parts are EVEYWHERE. Or just buy a random 500 and pull parts off of it, if you even needed them.

A lot of newer shooters never saw a Mossberg AHT , and don't know they exist. Most of them think it is just a Model 500 Build Up. I have seen some shooters shoot this gun pretty well.

It wasn't a AHT - But a Mossberg 500 got me hooked on trap shooting 60 years ago.

My first "trap gun". Since it didn't fit me well it rattled my teeth a bit. I paid $375.
