If ya want to hear something totally stupid.
Ask a Perazzi dealer what the price of a MX10, MX 10rs or HT combo is selling for

I firmly believe the Italian's have lost their mind.
Dealer said a HT Lusso Combo 34/31.5, fixed chokes is 29,897.00.

I realize prices have increased, but this is just stupid.

I own high grade guns but this is out of reason.

I think I'll sell all mine and shoot my Ljutic.

Then you go to P. gun on their website and see them standing with 8 Chinese Communist that are having new gun's built.

    See ya later Perazzi

    I know, misspelled absolutely

Have owned 5 Kolar's and actually like them better.

Own one now and will have a custom stock built for it.

Their stock's just don't fit me in the grip area.

Better people to do business with also

I’ve probably owned at least 15 Perazzi’s through the years. Still have 6 in different configurations with several being combos. NEVER once did I say..I would sure like to own a High Tech. I don’t get it but everyone has different tastes and that’s what makes the world go round.

    anothony,
let me see if i can explain some if the shock of some gun prices.
some human nature comes into play. and marketing.
you have people who are practical.
    some are not.
you have some who want quality.
    some dont.
some dont care about any of the above. instead, they care about what they look like in the eyes of their beholders.
    some care about their performance.
    some dont.
some care more about status and where they stand in the chop chain of success when around peers.
this has been going on since time began.
cars, homes, neighborhoods, jobs, women, where they vacation, how many acres you own, looks, friends, guns, and........MONEY.
ever since europe infiltrated the u.s gun industry, theyve been marketing the whole spectrum.
they sell entry level guns to entry level buyers, hunting guns to hunters, and they sell filthy expensive guns to filthy rich americans.
back in the day it was M21's, A1 parker, and the likes. guns for the most part out of the reach of the typical american.
to fill that gap, you will find guns for 29,000.00 and up. nothing wrong with being wealthy. its everyone dream to acquire wealth and its a sign of proper life planning to be able to provide for a family and have some left over for fun.
for those in that catagory, guns with high price tags are sold.
for instance, when you think of the king and queen of england hunting on one of their preserves, you think holland and holland, boss, etc...not remington 870.
so, guns become much more than just a boom pole. they become signs and flags of position.
i live in a house that at one time was bulit by the lawyer who worked for planters peanuts. it was a wonderful house with servant entrances, carriage house, and gardens designed by master designers. it was on a street with other houses its equal. everyone strolled past porches on sunday and visited. women were eager to show their homes to the other women. and, in doing so, women in the know knew if she had good taster based on what they saw.

it still happens in different ways. for men.....the gun on your shoulder tells a lot about you.
when i visit a new club, i scan the crowd and the gun rack. if i see k and p guns....i get mine.
when i see 870's and mossbergs, i get my m50.
its sort of like a calling card. and if you think it doesnt happen, youre blind. many could care less about your scores. they care about YOU and your gun....and your RV.
    its called socio-economic classing.
    happens every day.
    walmart......or harris teeter.
    ford.......benz.
    flip phone....smart phone.
    pizza...............gourmet food delivered online.

so....i hope this helps you understand, there is a place and a market for guns of that level.

and as tempting as it is to own one.....im always being reminded by that little voice, i am who i am, and G-d made me that way without guns in mind.
"if a man thinks himself to be something when hes nothing, he deceives himself and the truth is not in him." 'G-d hates a haughty spirit.'
i give thanks for what ive been given; and G-d forbid i step in front of him and use my wealth to shine light on myself and not the giver.
    humility wins out every time.
so out i go with my 400.00 semi auto, to have some fun. lets see who i can wax with it.
    regards....

    I agree totally.

My point is the Co. raising prices everytime they deliver to a dealer. I've owned 24 P.guns and just traded the last one.

    I have 2 Seitz a Crown Grade TS k-80 a Kolar and a Ljutic.

There is a stopping point simply because the consumer is funding the Olympians from other countrie's.

They are building guns that are not the quality of the earlier guns.

I've owned 5 HT combo's. I think today the Kolar is a better quality gun than the Perazzi.

I have plenty of experience with both.

I understand the high end sports cars compared to the Cadillac.

If ya want to pay their price, fine.

    I'm thru with them

its a crime if prices go up but quality goes down.
many companies spend decades developing a brand name...then once its secured, they do the switcharoo and knock down quality.

i/e: john deer tractors....made in china.

I love Kolar trap guns. Definitely one of my favorites but i have to agree with you that the grip arch is to far back from the trigger

My last MX10RS bought used paid $8500 for. I'd never buy one new. Not that I could afford it anyways.
