Here’s an interesting Remington 1100 12 gauge that I’ve decided to sell. It’s an 80’s vintage field gun with a 28 inch vent rib modified choke barrel in VG plus condition. The bore and mechanics are perfect. The blue has some slight edge wear and some pin prick spotting, but overall very presentable. I’d call it 90%. This gun was a custom shop order for upgraded wood and a gold inlayed initial shield which has initials on it. They could easily be removed if desired. The wood speaks for itself and is gorgeous. It has some nicks and bumps but overall , it’s also about 90% with the original buttplate. It’s been my experience that everyone shoots an 1100 pretty well. They are extremely pointable, the dimensions are good for most folks and the felt recoil doesn’t get any better then this. This gun was used in the field, carried far more then shot. It’s not perfect but pretty darn nice. There, likely, will be no more 1100’s from wherever they are now. Certainly nothing more from Ilion! 1100 pricing has gotten a bit crazy lately and I suspect prices will continue to increase. I think I’m pricing this gun fairly and some will conclude I’m undervaluing it. And remember, I’ll pay shipping and insurance to the lower 48. Check it out. You decide……..Merry Christmas. $850
As this was a custom ordered Remington, do you have the stock dimensions: LOP, DAC, DAH, Cast? Thanks.
Sure—pretty standard stuff! 14 inches LOP over the factory buttplate and drops are 1 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches and neutral cast.
