As previously stated I'm shooting my auto loader, the comp Hi-Viz sight keeps falling off, should I say " to hell with it & shoot without it?"

I heard after you're confident in your gun the front sight is useless

One day at the Virginia state back in the 70s, my front sight came off before the singles event. To make a long story even longer. I went on to win with a perfect century.
I guess jt made me concentrate on the target and not worry about the end of the barrel.
But I did put a knew one on.
Could use some Lok tight on the threads,

A little blue locktite will keep it in place. Good shooting, Rey

Just go to Walmart get a small tube of clear silicone and use it and put it in your tool box, I use it on my add on mini rear sights, it never comes off.

I installed a replacement bead sight (2 beads, 180 degrees apart), and when tightened it was 30 degrees to the left.
Tried Loctite with sight aligned with rib, but always loosened after 50+ shots.
The fix was a flattened #9 soft shot placed at the rear of the sight as it was screwed down with Loctite on threads. 1,000+ shots later and still aligned with rib.
