32" ported, hi vis front sight, fixed chokes, 2-00 bottom ( .23 ?), top 3-00 (.27 ?), barrel lug rebuilt 2018, bores shiny, bluing excellent. $2300 shipped.
posted pictures show they are stamped MX8 barrels, they show perazzi, they are actually 31.5 in length ( some folks say 32"), bottom barrel has 3-000's and top has 2-00's which are stamped on those barrels as shown in pictures and they are fixed. The picture in the original post shows the barrels upside down (bottom barrel up). After checking my notes and reading the confusing perazzi info per perazzi site for choke designations on the choke markings (meaning they show two different readings for the same zero's marked on the barrels) the bottom barrel is approximately 23 points constriction and top is approximately 36, I did miss state this as 27 points of constriction both barrels are .724 . I'm not a Perazzi expert by no means as others are on this site but I do own two of them. I thought your comment was rude and could have been stated differently other than that everything is fine. So if there is something else you think I don't know concerning the posting let me know.
It's always a good idea to bore mic the barrel's and state the I.d. of the barrel's and choke constriction's. Didn't mean to be rude. I'll help anyway I can
You stated that the barrel lug was rebuilt. Is this a conversion from type three to type four? What are the first two didgets of the serial Number please. Thanks.
When I sent the combo to Doug Braker to repair the cracked forearm I had him redo the locking block, tighten barrel lugs on the single barrel and o/u barrels and check fit plus some springs. A friend of mine had a forearm from an MX15 which he sold to me and installed the forearm iron. I believe he said it was type 4. I don't know the difference between type lll or lv but it works and matches the butt stock. Serial # starts with 96 as you noted. any other questions please let me know. Thanks
