You have to have confidence in your re-loads, Last year was the first time I used One Ounce loads, I tried 2 powders, and I did not notice any differences, 20 grs of Promo and 20 grs. of 700-X, first time in 10+years on 700-x. I like the quickness of those loads from the 27 yard line, they absolutely smoked targets, I only use Tight Full Choke Bbls or tubes, I have found the CG Tubes to give the best patterns for me, but the Blaser tube did an excellent job too. I have done a lot of patterning at 35 yards, why? For me that is the yardage I break most of my targets at.

I get on my targets very quickly, as I hold a higher gun than most shooters, This came about after shooting so many years, all my targets are shot on the rise, and that is why I shoot a High Point Of Impact. 18"-22"inch works the best for me. I like a pattern with a tight center core, the tighter the better for me.

I never use the 13 yard pattern, as it will not tell you what is happening at 35 yards. It just punches hole in the paper or cardboard.

I still have that pattern from my Silver Seitz that I had the best averages with, it is my guide
when I change guns, If I can't match that pattern, down the road the gun goes.

No one patterns @ 13 yard. LOL
Some do check there POI @ 13 yards.

I haven't reloaded in over 30 years and I don't see it in my future.

I have the utmost confidence in my reloads. They break birds.

I have confidense in my reloads, I have broke several decent scores with them. If I play the money on handicap there is nothing like a new Nitro27 or Federal. It only costs a little more to go first class in this instance!

I like my reloads! I do not like recoil! I use 1 ounce with 16.0 grains of promo for 16's and 18.0 grains of promo pushing one and a sixteenth of #71/2 from the 25 yard line. it works for me and I can shoot all day long without getting beat up

I have had a lot of confidence with Solo 1000 in my reloads, now that I can't get it anymore I;ve gone to Titegroup and will be shooting it for the first time at the Southern Grand.
I have some good receipes , so hope to do well..

Use my own reloads with reclaim for 16's and 7 1/2 new for handicap.

I shoot nothing but reloads, registered or practice, and for all trap disciplines. Shot 6-100's & 12-99's in last years ATA with them. I'm very confident with them. I also practice with the load I shoot registered with.

If you're shooting reloads and you don't have confidence in them, you should probably do yourself a favor and stop reloading and start buying your shells.
