For a few years we saw some really inflated prices for a Colt Python. I used to own six Pythons at one time, I sold them all together with a few other Colt snake guns, got prices beyond my imaginations in the past two or three years. Yesterday, I saw this approx. 99% 6" Royal Blue Python in a shop known for selling full retail prices and I was a little surprised to see their sticker price was lower than what some of mine went for last year. * Don't mind the "single action" words on the tag, that's the California requirement, you can legally convert it back after you did the paper work. If you don't know how to put the double-action strut back, a gun smith charges $50 for this work.
Here's another find from the same shop, I know its in excellent condition and pretty rare to find one in this shape, but, Compare to this, the Python seems to be an even better buy. I had one and another model 27, the 28 was like new in the box, but both didn't went for anywhere near this price.
