3 hole targets vs. 2 hole targets, the ATA is doing this or the ATA is doing that but they didn't do this, the ATA isn't still in Ohio, the ATA is in Sparta, the WSRC is open the WSRC is closed, I hope the WSRC stays open, I hope it doesn't, 7 1/2 or 8, big dogs win everything, union or non union, republican or democrat, Grand or no Grand, Illinois or Ohio or Texas or Pennsylvania, why, why, why?
I think you guys would be exhausted from all the complaining!

I know I'm exhausted just reading about it!

If it bothers ya so much, why read it? It's your choice ya know.... But, then again, I guess we could go along with the silent majority and just let the ATA continue to have its way with us without any questions being raised.... Would that suit you better??

I love reading the smut the first thing in the morning! But first i take a big yawn, a big stretch and then walk to the bathroom and take a piss, hard part is remembering the correct order.

Probably the same thing the governor said when he found out the place wasn't making all that money it was supposed to.

 

The least you could do is JOIN the ATA, then you would have some creditably when you criticize the organization.

 

I've been involved with shooting for over 40 years.
I've been involved with ATA shooting for only 10 years now.
I've shot very little registered as for the last 10 years both of my sons have been shooting SCTP and AIM. Didn't leave much extra time or money for me to participate. I still coach a youth team and am planning to shoot regularly this year as both my sons have moved on to adulthood.

I've only known Sparta. Vandalia was already done with when I got involved with ATA. I knew about Vandalia and always wanted to shoot there but time and money never hooked up at the same time.
The ATA I know has been okay so far.
I don't agree with everything it does like moving the AIM Nationals up in front of the pre lim events.

I just don't think that you can fix anything by ranting and raving about it on internet forums. So many people don't care and the only way to fix anything is by stepping in and getting elected or appointed to the board. I guess being a delegate would probably be the first step.

What is the criteria for becoming a delegate, anyway?

 

The criteria for becoming a delegate are some of these:

1) Must have a ring in your nose so you can be lead around by the EC.
2) Must not question any decisions made by the EC.
3) Must vote to pass any and all items brought up by the EC.
4) Must be able to survive after having your head in the sand for more than 10 years.
5) Must trust the EC on every subject
6) Must not pay any attention to the membership in your zone.

These are but a few of the criteria necessary. The list is actually much longer than this, however, none of us has the time to spell it all out for you. You get the idea, right? Don't get too upset with us, we are just the nagging, complaining types that actually want to know the truth instead of being treated like mushrooms...

I hope you guys notice I have not been posting anything about target settings, I brought it up several years ago, challenged Neil Winston numerous times on his inequities, and errors on numerous subjects from Target settings, to patterns my gun has shot. and got BANNED FOR IT. I am now just waiting for Governor Rauner posting/passing a budget to open or close the WRSC.

You're right. Who cares? If it's open, it's open. If you want to go, go, if not, don't go. But it is funny to read all the "experts" who really knows what is going on and how they go off on any tangent when it comes along

 

don't hold your breath about hearing on Sparta, IL assembly won't be back till after April 4th....
