28ga field and clays

    They are the same as a Remington STS

    Most recipes would call for the Claybuster CB1034-28 wad (the non HS style wad).

    Claybuster CB1034-28 (or the Winchester WAA28 equivalent). These are perfect for 3/4 oz loads, the standard for clays. They fit nicely, give consistent crimps, and pattern well with powders like Clays, Universal, or 20/28. I've smashed thousands of targets with these. Super reliable and forgiving.

    For new Remington American Clay & Field (often just called Field and Clays) 28ga hulls, the go-to wads are the Claybuster CB1034-28 (the pink one, equivalent to the old WAA28) or similar tapered-hull wads like the Remington Power Piston style.
