I cannot get the cocking lever out, even following the instructions on the Beretta site and the youtube videos. Lining up the bolt carrier edge and the bolt head indicator as instructed but still unable to pull the lever out. 2400 rounds through the gun. Do I need to spray some WD40 in there? Any help appreciated.
Never use wd 40 on any gun, horrible stuff for guns....you might try a drop of quality gun lube like "Break Free". Wiggle it as you pull, it will come out. As a very good gunsmith/friend told me "don't panic"!
I’ve had the same issue on my A400. A tiny drop of a proper gun lube like Break-Free or CLP on the lever pivot usually does the trick.
