The phone is blowing up, pm and email boxes full. New news out of Sparta is “Gipson’s contract is under lock and key.” Don’t ask for a copy. I report. You decide. Merlo out
Is that even legal in a Corporation that is owned by the Members ..? I have to think there would be discloser rules (laws ) that should be taken into account or what's next ..? WPT … (YAC) …
Oh come on Merlo... You have to know by now YOU must be on that dreaded NEED TO KNOW list...LOL Join the crowd.
The Ohio State Shoot that just ended had fewer than 700 in the main handicap, which I think is the smallest number of shooters since I joined the ATA in 1974. In 1975 there were 1600 in the handicap. The SCTP shoot at the Ohio State Shoot had 619 kids shooting on Monday. That's the most ever for that event. A tale of two directions. Gipson and the EC have done this to ATA shooting, along with Delegates that don't know and don't care about trap shooting other than to just get along. Kiner called me about this issue last year before the Missouri grand but again no delegates gave a damn. Trap Shooters on the whole are a bunch of balless whiners who only think about themselves. The SCTP needs to shit can making their kids join the ATA to shoot and run their own deal. Once all those kids that get nothing from the ATA aren't around it will be harder too hide this BS.
Nothing can be kept secret in a 501 corp. The non profit has to be very open in all of its dealings. Roger C.
Only ..... IF ..... someone is willing to 'enforce' their compliance ..... The current location of the 'ATA' has NOTHING to do with Trapshooting ..... The State of Corruption has NO DESIRE to do so ..... So ..... Pounding your head against the wall becomes nothing but a cheap blood-sport ..... The 'Clubs' could refuse to support the ATA by NOT holding 'ATA Shoots', then you could possibly see some 'action' ..... Until then, NOTHING, as long as the cash-cow has ANY cash remaining, and 'Clubs' keep feeding it ..... So, pound away, it is your head ..... the words I like to quote about this is ..... "sometimes the bastards win" .....
The ATA does business in every state, any one of them can open a case against them. Not just the state they are located in. Roger C.
What about any other Countries where the "ATA does business" ????? What 'laws' would apply to a U.S. public charity there ????? Can the President of the ATA, or anyone else in the ATA rank and file, live anywhere in the world where the "ATA does business" ????? If so, how does 'travel pay' work ????? Anyone may be able to "open a case against them", in possibly many different 'locations', but living long enough to see any results would be doubtful at best .....
