looking for a MX-10 unsingle top barrel, adjustable rib, needs to be totally unmodified with NO choke tubes, porting and full to x full choke, for a older mx-10 dropout trigger receiver , If worked by wilkenson with paperwork showing what was done it would be the only exception. thank you for looking
Bill, You want what is pictured which is an MX-10RS. Top single is MX-10. Just thought I'd help. Good shooting
question, comparing the mx10 RS barrel and the mx 10 unsingle, are the ribs the same height off the stock ??? ie will the mx10 rs barrel fit the mx-10 and sight picture be the same and the double barrels ? thank you or after reading again the mx 10 rs IS a mx10 with a unsingle barrel ?
Bill, There is no MX10 unsingle. The MX-10 is a top single combo or single. rib on the MX-10 top single is 3/16th higher than the MX-10RS unsingle. Sight picture on either gun will be the same with the O/U barrels if it's a combo. Both are 4 notch adjustable rib barrels. Rib on MX-10 O/U barrels is 3/16th higher than the O/U barrels on the MX10RS. Two different guns. Both guns come in combo's or single barrel. Hope this help's Roy 512-431-5253
Bill. RS unsingles and almost all recent full choke Perazzi bbls are actually Lt Full (.032). If any tighter ones are around they were custom ordered from the factory. An I kindadoubt current Perazzi shooters would sell you their extraordinary tight choke bbls. Adn even Soem Wilkinson will be in the -032 area. You are askign for a needle that does not exist. And as JSkolar said, Huff308 has the bbl you are looking for.
Thanks, my current mx10 combos (bought 2 of them new from Ray Stafford way back when) both came extra tight full, then sent to Wilkinson by Ray and re choked for handicap, think its around .036-.038 I did not realize the newer ones all came as light full, the doubles barrels on mine he did at .032 and umm tight modified (cant remember the actual size, im guessing .026 ish)
That's because they are backbored at the factory to .736 or .740. My 10RS is .740 from the factory with .021 and .032 O/U. .032 unsingle. .736 are mostly the same unless ordered differently
Roy... I can read. I guess I am trying to say that the Huff308 bbl is worthy of consideration by the OP
Yes, I agree. Porting never bothered me. Since the new barrels are unavailable from the factory at this time.
Thanks Great info, I may have to go measure mine and my wifes to be sure of the actual constriction Tom put in there... they sure shoot well
Bill, I'd buy Huff 308 barrel and never look back. It has original 18.7 bore with .032 choke. Good Luck
Hi Bill I have what you are looking for. It came off of an MX2000RS combo. It is 1 star constriction barrel indicating full, never ported, never tuned etc etc. It is how it was when it left the factory. Please send me a pm Shooter007
