Ohio Stand Your Ground Now Law

The worthless Governor of Ohio Mike DeWine yesterday signed Ohio Senate Bill 175 into law. He said last week that he was going to veto it. DeWine has no backbone and hates a fight, plus he would have lost. Ohio Republicans are more Trump Republicans now thanks to term limits, the Kasich Rats are out.

Ohio is now officially open for Antifi and BLM to come and have one of their mostly peaceful protests.

 

Rep. Emilia Sykes of Akron, the top House Democrat, went further, calling DeWine “a coward.”

“Only cowards would pass and sign a bill that has been proven to disproportionately harm Black people,” added Sykes, who is Black.


"disproportionately" harm blacks????? Could that be because blacks commit a disproportionately amount of crime? Guess that doesn't matter.

 

Correct me if I'm mistaken but I believe under the "Castle Doctrine" someone using deadly force to defend themselves and does not face criminal prosecution would not have to face a civil lawsuit. Is that correct? Wonder how this will play out under this new law. You can be 100% justified in the use of deadly force but still lose everything you have defending yourself in civil court. That's just wrong!

 

Case in point........Too many Attorneys.

Don't worry about it, Gerald. Once you've killed a few of them, they all start to get the message.

 

The Trayvon case was a dandy, but it was all for naught. After the dust settled, Zimmerman became a rock star and I'd hate to think how rich he is now. Hell, he sold the gun for a quarter of a million bucks.
